Banana Roll-Ups with Hazelnut Spread

How fun are these roll-ups? And probably the simplest dessert ever. Made with tender egg roll wrappers, fresh bananas and hazelnut spread - baked to perfection and topped with a little more hazelnut spread. Sweet, buttery, chocolatey, and easy (and fun use of leftover egg roll wrappers)!

Want to make more than four roll-ups? No problem! You can make as many as you want (and, of course, you can make just ONE for yourself). Since the bananas are halved, each on makes 2 rolls.

Want to prep ahead? Go for it! Assemble the roll-ups as directed and cover the pan with foil. Store at room temperature for up to 8 hours or refrigerate for up to 24 hours. Bake as directed.

Banana Roll-Ups with Hazelnut Spread

1 tablespoon butter, melted
4 egg roll wrappers
4 teaspoons Nutella or hazelnut spread of choice, plus more for drizzling over top of finished roll-ups
2 bananas, halved lengthwise
1 teaspoon granulated sugar

Preheat the oven to 375 degrees. Brush some of the butter in the bottom of an 8-inch square baking pan.
Arrange the egg roll wrappers on a flat surface. Spread 1 teaspoon of the Nutella on each wrapper, making a line down the middle. Place the banana on top of the Nutella. Roll up and place the rolls side-by-side in the prepared pan.
Brush the remaining butter over top. Sprinkle with the sugar.
Cover with foil and bake for 10 minutes. Uncover and bake for 5 to 10 more minutes, until the wrappers are golden brown on the edges.
Drizzle Nutella over top and serve warm.
