Chicken Wings with Spicy Honey Mustard

How about something super simple for your Super Bowl crowd? Even better, these wings are baked not fried, so they're healthier and MUCH less messy.

Baked Chicken Wings with Spicy Honey Mustard

1 tablespoon olive oil
1 cup honey
2 tablespoons red wine vinegar
1 1/2 tablespoons mustard powder
1 teaspoon cayenne pepper, or more to taste
4 pounds chicken wings and drummettes, wing tips trimmed and discarded if necessary
Salt and freshly ground black pepper

Preheat the oven to 400 degrees. Place a baking rack on top of a large baking sheet and brush the rack with the olive oil (if your baking racks and baking sheets are too small to hold all the chicken without crowding, use two sets). Set aside.
In a large bowl, whisk together the honey, vinegar, mustard powder and cayenne pepper. Add the chicken wings and drummettes and turn to coat. Transfer the chicken to the prepared baking rack and season with the salt and black pepper.
Bake for 45 to 50 minutes, until the chicken is cooked through and the skin is crispy.
