At least for today. I mean, look at this plate of sheer joy. I saw these beautiful steaks at the market and, as I put them in my cart, I thought, "I'll save these for tomorrow". Who was I kidding? Not that I subscribe to meat-free Mondays every week, not with two growing boys in the house. But, we were uber gluttonous yesterday so I was planning to cook on the lighter side today. Until I met my match! They were calling out to me - the way succulent, juicy steaks do. A little kosher salt, freshly ground black pepper and my well-seasoned grill pan and a feast was in the making. I may never do Meatless Monday again.
