That's what I heard from ALL 5 boys I took to the Fractured Prune donut shop yesterday. I met the owner of the place doing a radio show in Phoenix (we were both guests on the same day). He showed up to the studio with about 6 dozen donuts - and they were unbelievable. It was my goal to get my kids (and some of their friends) to the place on the first opportunity.
Here's the quick scoop - the donut is just ONE flavor, BUT it comes hot out of the fryer and into ANY glaze you want (they have about 19 choices). Then, the glaze-topped donut is dunked into ANY topping you want - confectioners' sugar, chocolate chips, cinnamon, cookie crumbles, marshmallows, sprinkles, you name it. It's crazy-awesome. So, imagine this.. warm, tender donut, melt-in-your mouth toppings and glazes. What could be better? According to the kids, nothing.
