I call this "little" because it was! I served this ham on Christmas day with a huge spread of other dishes. Since it wasn't the main attraction, I didn't need a big ham! If you want to make ham the star of YOUR show, simply ramp up the ingredients accordingly. My ham was about 1 pound, so adjust the measurements based on the size of your ham.
Baked Ham with Honey, Orange and Cloves
1 pre-cooked, sliced ham
1/2 cup orange juice
1 tablespoon honey
1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
Freshly ground black pepper
Whole cloves
Preheat the oven to 325 degrees.
Place the ham in a shallow baking dish.
Whisk together the juice, honey, Dijon, and pepper. Place the mixture in a small saucepan and simmer until thickened to a syrup-like consistency.
Pour the glaze over the ham and stick the cloves all over the top.
Bake for 18-20 minutes per pound.
Serves 4-6
